Descending East Peak

Descending into Aneroid Basin from the summit of East Peak with my friend Sol, who had recently returned from Iraq. We left the summit of The Wallowa Lake Tramway and traversed over East Peak and down into Aneroid Canyon, coming out at The Wallowa Lake Trailhead. It's a great hike, and a quick way to get up and spend some time at elevation. You can also traverse Hidden Peak and Aneroid Mountain before you drop down if you have enough time. We didn't on this trip. (We actually hiked out in the dark once again. (Imagine that!) Got a late start.
