The moon rising on a descent from East Peak. I suppose this photo is one of the payoffs of hiking out in the dark. (Of course I forgot my headlamp, and I'm quite certain we were followed down the trail by a Cougar on this hike. So if I had been mauled in the dark I may not have thought the payoff was quite so good! As it was we survived with a couple stumbles and scrapes, but no Cougar bites!)
